The coherence with the beautiful nature is achieved through the use of large amounts of glass surfaces in the interior. Also, in order to stay in balance with the nature, architect Emanuel Silva used paving stone on the lower level in this cottage of 600 square meters.

The house is divided into two segments that intersect in the horizontal and vertical planes of communication, making it so pleasant for accommodation, leisure and social gatherings.

These photos are taken in Nørrebro area, Copenhagen, where triangular block of buildings can be found. The roofs of these structures are used for creating the missing place of resting for its owners. The typical garden space in Copenhagen has an associated dual functionality, so the architects designed a hedonistic rooftop penthouse which offers the following features:

1. added programs of a playground with a shock-absorbing surface and suspension bridge;
2. a green hill which is seeded with real grass and vegetation;
3. an lookout viewing platform;
4. outdoor kitchen and barbecue;
5. a wooden deck;

The furniture next to the pool is low to the ground and gives an interesting combination with the lawn and decoration in the yard.

A very interesting feature is the pool that is connected with the bedroom with glass walls.

It is interesting that the existing irrigation canal suits the design of the house and landscape. It reflects the environment and provides sound and moisture to the air. There is a huge swimming pool at the end of this channel which is like a pond.

The architects are Schmidt Arquitectos Asociados. The house was built between 2007 and 2009, and the built area is 360m2. The predominant materials that are used are wood , stone, concrete, glass and water. The walls are made of stone, and the floors of wood. Soft cover coated waters slate tiles are structured on laminated beams made in Chilean native timber Coihue and the slabs were left at the light to add more complexity and pace to the ceiling.

In order to dilute the border between inside and outside, the windows are recessed in the floor and beams. Sliding windows and doors are the only elements with frames. The stone walls of the garden terraces are introduced into the interior to reinforce the spatial continuity. The large window of the living room opens completely integrating the terrace and pool inside the house or vice versa.

1.House Stojanovic – location: Lake Vlasina
The owner of the house is Jovo Stojanovic, a businessman from Serbia. He had bought a land on the shore of Lake Vlasina and has hesitated about the choice of the designer. Finally, he opted for the architect Bozidar Petrovic. This house is a little masterpiece of sandstone rock that is embedded in objects, paths and fire-grill in the backyard.

2. House Filipovic – location: Asanja
This house has approximately 300 square meters on two levels, with great salon on the ground. In addition to this building, it is  planned to be built a shed and be suitable for rural tourism.

3. House Lukic – location: around Ljig
Zvonko Lukic, Belgrade lawyer, born in the surroundings of Ljig, decided to rearrange the house of his parents who live in the village. The house is post-war buildings in good condition and made ​​of hard materials, but with some shortcomings, both in the spatial organization as well as artistic sense. Petrovic- the architect,  projected firstly the auxiliary building in the courtyard. After that, they started with the renovation of the house.

4 House Miloradovic – location: Topola
As it can be seen, the designers worked with sandstone and everything is done right – expertly and professionally.

5 House Ristanovic -location: near Drina

The view that the owner of this property has over the river Drina is almost surreal. This is one of those places where it is evident how this river is beautiful. The owner of this house from the village near Ljubovija, has its own bakery industry. In his native village, he decided to make a small vacation house. The plot is on steep terrain and in it there is an old abandoned house and already established household.
